The Rainbow Sheikh's new toy!
Credit crisis? What credit crisis?
According to the guy manning the cafe at the car museum, Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan is kitting out his new TriStar with rooms to stay overnight in. Unfortunately I couldn't get closer to take a better photo.
The word "hotel" was also mentioned, but I find that hard to visualise. Ring ring!
"Good Morning, you're through to Rainbow Plane Hotel. How can I help you?"
"Morning! I'd like to book a room for the night."
"Certainly sir, would that be in First, Business or Economy?"

Every time there is a tiny bit of rain we get this massive puddle on the road outside our villa. It can be a pain, but the boys love it!

Butlins coach trip to the local Off-License!
We found this rather odd. The photo is outside a "special" supermarket-style shop in Ras Al Khaimah which sells "special" beverages to the public. We had finished, walked out, and came across two bus-loads of people filing out!
The existence of such an outlet has always been a quandary to me, but NOW... Well, there can be no question of it's right to exist!
Anyone got a stag-do coming up?
